Artist Bio
Veronica Evans was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Her love of colorful, sparkly jewelry began as a child, when she regularly spent hours digging through her grandmother Carmela's jewelry boxes with her sister.
Veronica graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998. In 2001, the life-long city girl moved to an acreage in Bryan with her husband, James. She began fusing glass in 2003 and fell in love with glass work immediately.
Veronica is inspired by and receives tremendous support from her close-knit family and friends, including her mentor and aunt, Texas glass artist Catherine Elaine Porter. Veronica and James have a two-year-old daughter, Holly, who loves her mama’s jewelry!
